Michael Ellis
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Ellis has served as our Chief Financial Officer since April 2015. Mr. Ellis has over 15 years experience in leading technology/payment companies in the role of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Flywire, Mr. Ellis was the Chief Financial Officer at CashStar, a provider of digital gifting solutions for retailers, from 2009 to 2015, where he oversaw multiple functions including finance, risk and settlement operations, legal, and human resources. Prior to Cashstar, Mr. Ellis was the Chief Financial Officer of Eze Castle Software after beginning his career in public accounting where he spent nearly a decade in the audit and transactions services groups of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grant Thornton. Mr. Ellis received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Politics & Government from Ohio Wesleyan University.
